Introduction

PipBoxer V2 is now backed up by one year of live trading. We started a test on a live account from May 2007. PipBoxer opened the trades and either PipBoxer or ITM managed them all. Here is what we have achieved.

PipBoxer Live Trades in a Nutshell

The following image shows the behaviour of the system and the pairs in a nutshell.

There are a few interesting facts that you need to take into account.

• Even the loser pairs show a win rate of more than 50%. This means that if we manage to change their profit rate in the upcoming year they can turn into profitable EAs. We are striving to achieve this goal.
• We added ITM to our trading package in February 2008. We have rarely seen a drawdown more than 15% since then. This money management tool has amazed us with its behaviour. It has helped our package to not only monitor and manage every single trade but to manage all our trades at the same time.
• We have optimized our EAs in the past year several times. We will continue to do so in the future. We do our best to align PipBoxer EAs with the current movements in the market. In our opinion this could help to keep our system profitable in the future.
• We have not included the lot sizes in calculating the number of pips gained.
• If we had traded 1 lot/trade we could potentially gain between $40,000 to $50,000 profit.

We have also developed a spreadsheet based on our live trades that shows the details of each trade. Please click here to see it for yourself. You need Microsoft Excel or a similar application (such as OpenOffice Calc) to be able to open this file. It consists of two work sheets. The first one shows the details and the second one is the summary repot.
